If keeping everything in order is the primary focus for using tags, then keeping tags in order should be of utmost importance! Fortunately SUMAC® has a simple and clear interface for doing just that.

Head over to Scheme Settings and click on the Tags tab. Here you’ll find a list of the tags which are in use in the scheme, and how many members/partnerships are associated with them.This table allows for viewing and deleting of tags. Since no other data is associated with tags, removing them from the system is a simple process. Click the Trash can icon to remove a tag.

Removing a tag will mean that all entities (members and partnerships) with this tag will no longer be included when the tag is used in filtering.
