Problem

I’ve tried to create a match from a member’s profile page, but there’s no potential matches showing!

Information

The lack of available matches showing can be the result of a few different scenarios:

  1. The member isn’t available

    The member doesn’t have any potential matches as they aren’t currently available for matching.

  2. No available members of the opposite type

    This is the most common reason: there’s simply no one to match with!

Potential solutions

👍 Make sure that the member is available. This can be changed by toggling the member’s availability. See How do I toggle a member's availability?

👍 Make sure that there are members available of the opposite type. That is, if you are viewing a mentee’s profile, check to see that there are available mentors in the scheme.

If there are potential matches showing, but all the scores are the same, there is probably an issue with the member whose profile you are viewing. More than likely, their preferences have not been set. If there are preferences and this issue persists, check that the scheme has a range of preferences fields configured.
