Creating and managing tags

You can create new tags and manage existing tags from the ’Tags’ tab in Scheme Settings, and you can import tags from other schemes in the account using the 'Import from Existing scheme' button at the top right hand corner. This will give you the option to select any of the existing schemes within the account, from which tags can be imported.

Bulk tagging

You can add tags to member profiles in a bulk process via the members data screen. Just sort and filter records using the column headers, select a single, multiple or all displayed records, and then click the 'Bulk tag’ button. A panel will pop up allowing you to apply any existing tag to the selected records, to create and then apply a new tag, or to clear all tags from the selected records.

Displaying tags in data screens

You can add a 'Tags' column to the members data screen using the 'Options' button in the top right hand corner. Start typing a tag name and records with matching tags will automatically be displayed, along with all tags that have apply to those records.

If you apply a tag to selected records in the members data screen (using the bulk tagging function) these will not automatically display in the 'Tags' column, but they will have been applied to the records. The Tags column will only display the selected tags and the new tag applied has not yet been selected. To display the newly added tag, start typing the tag name into the box at the top of the column and it will automatically filter all the relevant records and display the tag in the tags column, along with any other tags also applied to those records.

Use tags to filter and update records

By typing in a tag name at the top of the ‘Tags’ column on the members data screen, you can filter the displayed records to reflect any specific tag. By selecting records with any combination of the selected tag and other displayed tags, you can then apply any of the other action buttons to email them, change their availability status, to add new tags, or withdraw them from the scheme.

Tags displayed in reports

Tags can be used to filter data in the reports screen, and the tags themselves are displayed in the report. Once downloaded the data can be further manipulated in Excel.

Tagging in profiles

Profiles include a tagging feature at the top of the profile page. Existing tags applied to the profile are displayed and can be removed. New tags can be added from the list of available tags, and new tags can be created and then added.
